This means that we’ll be working together some time (predefined upfront) and we’ll be going through some steps:

Inspiration:
Most important part is getting to know each other. What’s your fantasy, where do you come from.

In our ULURU|Beagle theatre we’ll be creating worlds just to get inspired. With all the curtains closed it’s easier for everybody to think and speak and fantasize without boundaries, yet with both feet on the floor.

Concepting:
As soon as we have a clear perspective and an (intellectual) understanding we start concepting together. Of course you’ll play an intrinsic part. Together (us and you and your team) we will be looking at the possibilities, look at the market and start making connections.

Which direction do you want to go with your company?

Implementation:
In order to have a viable proposition you have to have owners, entrepreneurs. They’ll be the ones putting the whole thing into action (of course with our help).

Shopping for local produce

Today, our busy lifestyles make it almost impossible to visit local farms or even the weekly markets to buy fresh foods. And at the same time, it is difficult for farmers to go out selling their local produce to people one-by-one. But the public at large still longs for those juicy fruits and veggies and quality meat and dairy products that usually taste way better than what’s commonly available in supermarkets.

ULURU|Beagle has developed a platform that makes it possible for Dutch farmers to distribute their local produce to your doorstep in the quantities you desire whenever you need them. In other words; if you just want 1 hand picked biological potato, you get 1 hand picked biological potato. Our newly developed distribution platform makes it possible for farmers and customers to connect once again, using the latest (mobile) technology. ULURU|Beagle has put choice and quality back on top of the food chain!

ULURU|Beagle energy efficient

ULURU is developing several products and services that use less energy efficiently. Many new energy sources provide more efficient and cleaner electricity and ULURU is looking into new ways of harvesting this energy. Don’t complain, just rework the system!

Sustainability viking style

Captain Rob McDonald from Emmeloord knows how to shift from thinking green to acting green. In the port of IJmuiden he showed us his viking replica ‘the Thor’ which he built entirely out of fifteen million popsicle sticks.

Act green
Captain Rob built his ship – which is fifteen metres long and seven metres tall – in five years using recycled materials such as popsicle sticks.

He did this together with some five thousand young students. He received support from an ice cream manufacturer that donated surplus popsicle sticks and a company offering 2,5 tons seawater proof glue. In addition to that, people from all over the world sent used popsicle sticks to McDonald.

A nice way to shift from thinking green to acting green. Or, as McDonald put it: “I want to show people what we can do with the stuff we throw out every day. Kids pick up the popsicle sticks, let’s build something really cool with it.”

Sailing to Florida
The captain wants to sail his eco friendly ship to England and then cross the Atlantic. The goal is to take the same route the vikings once used and finally arrive at Key West in Florida.

Captain Rob has an obvious affinity with popsicle sticks. In the past, he built a replica of the Zeven Provincien using 17,888 popsicle sticks. Later, in 2003, he built a ship using 370,000 popsicle sticks. McDonald has already made several attempts at crossing the Channel to England but each time he was forced to abort his mission, amongst others because of heavy storms.

Water speed record
However, Captain Rob is not about to give up and is already making plans for the future. One of his plans is to be the first to sail a viking ship up the Thames. He also wants to set a water speed record with a different vessel equipped with an eco-friendly propulsion system. “I want to do that when this dream is done and the boat sold.”

Like ULURU|Beagle, Rob believes that nothing is impossible. “You can do anything. If you can think it, can dream it, you can do it.” ULURU|Beagle wishes captain Rob a safe journey. Going green on a beautiful blue ocean.

More efficient and cleaner electricity
ULURU|Beagle is a big fan of innovative green concepts, which is one of the reasons our reporters set out on an eco friendly electric scooter. We are also working on several products and services that help reduce our daily energy consumption.
